The rarefied world of restoration London, and a group of fopps gather to discuss fashions, infatuations, and the latest fad of chocolate. But can an amateur group of players do justice to this script? A brand new coarse acting play, coming to The Questors Theatre for one night only!

Sunday and the War

The Blitz, the bombs, the doodlebugs. Vera Lynn singing all the time. It was awful', says one character in our new play, Sunday and the War. So why do the English still go on about World War II all the time? That's the question a boy asks in the play as he goes in search of a hero - from war comics to a foul-mouthed aunt and a World War II veteran who might not be all he seems.

Houdini and Bess
Written and directed by David Hovatter
Following the relationship between Houdini and his wife, Bess, the play is a touching insight into when people fall in love and how, over the years, the innocence and purity of first love becomes diluted over time as the pressures of work and life create a strain on a couple's  time together.


Suitable for ages 15+
