Questors Academy

Your accent journey begins here!

American Accent Mastery Course will introduce you to:

Accents are a gateway to understanding diverse cultures and characters, and mastering them can open doors to endless opportunities in the entertainment industry and beyond. Enroll today in the General American Accent Mastery Course and let Emma Songeur guide you on a journey to becoming a master of General American and to enjoy making accents.

From the stage to the screen, your ability to speak authentically will set you apart and leave a lasting impression.

Your accent journey begins here!

Week 1
You will be given a chance to practice your General American from the start with a monologue, building technique and confidence.
You are encouraged to come to the session with your own monologue.
You will be given a technical accent sheet and homework for the next session including practicing the monologue using recordings.
Week 2
You will then then come back in week 2 to share your work with the group.
You will leave the two sessions with a simple and fun accent learning process and confidence that you can research and learn any accent again yourself.

You will also learn that the very things that make actors anxious about performing with accents - are not barriers to be surmounted, but fantastic tools that make any actor more aware of their character, sound and articulation! Accents empower great communication.
