Erma by David HovatterErma Bombeck was an American woman who found her voice in the 1960s and 70s with a newspaper column. She wrote humorous articles about the unequal dynamics of traditional gender roles from the perspective of a suburban housewife and was a best-selling author and producer of her own TV sitcom Maggie. This is her story.
